About Us

DMV Impact is a dedicated non-profit (501(c)(3)) grassroot basketball organization committed to developing young athletes ages 7 to 18, as well as unsigned seniors, both boys and girls. Our mission goes beyond playing basketball and athletic training — we equip players with essential tools, knowledge, life skills, and discipline needed to excel not only in basketball but in school and everyday challenges. We set high standards for our players, emphasizing the importance of character, responsibility, communication, and commitment both on and off the court, helping them grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.

Mission

The mission of DMV Impact is to transform the culture of youth travel basketball by shifting away from a win-at-all-costs mindset toward a healthier, more positive environment rooted in teaching, coaching, and learning. We focus on developing well-rounded athletes by combining strong basketball fundamentals with essential life skills such as discipline, communication, leadership, and resilience. Academic accountability remains central to our philosophy — “If you don’t make the grades, you can’t make the plays.” We also emphasize teamwork, character, and community service, encouraging our players to give back and grow into confident, responsible individuals both on and off the court.
